Wisdom on the Front Porch — Art, AI Creator & Photography Competition
Submit your photo or artwork for the opportunity to be featured on the cover of Wisdom on the Front Porch magazine.Fill out the entry form below and submit a .jpg of your photo or artwork.
This is not a contest or a sweepstakes — it’s a true competition. There is a fee of $100 per submission to participate.The chosen photo or artwork will be featured on the front cover of the magazine. There may or may not be runners-up, depending on the quality of the submissions.Three (3) times a year, one winner will be chosen from all submissions received.
Originality & RightsAll photos or artwork must be original work, created or captured by the entrant.No third party may own or control any materials the photo or artwork contains. The photo or artwork must not infringe upon any trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any person or entity.Photos or artwork may be altered in any way — including, but not limited to, removing, adding, reversing, or distorting subjects within the frame. However, you must acknowledge that the photo or artwork has been altered and confirm that it is entirely your own original work — or that you have obtained written permission to use and alter any third-party materials, and you agree to provide that permission upon request.Violators will be removed from the competition, stripped of any prize(s), and banned from entering future competitions.
How to Enter & JudgingEntries will not be accepted unless submitted through the official competition channel. Any entries not submitted through the proper channel will be deleted.Entries will be judged by the columnists of Wisdom on the Front Porch Magazine, who reserve the right to disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate or not in compliance with the stated competition rules. All decisions are final.By entering the competition, entrants agree that submissions may be used by Wisdom on the Front Porch magazine and podcast for advertising and promotional purposes.
All artwork submitted may be used by Wisdom on the Front Porch and its parent company, writers2readers, LLC, for magazine covers, website features, digital galleries, and promotional purposes.Artists and photographers always keep their original piece and full rights to use it however they wish, including selling it, displaying it, or adding it to their own portfolio.By submitting, you grant us non-exclusive permission to showcase your work to promote the competition, our magazine, and our creative community — but you remain the owner of your work.
Deadlines & Winner NotificationSubmissions will not be accepted once the deadline has passed. The prize must be collected by the winner and is non-transferable. The winner will be contacted via the email address provided during entry. If no response is received within three business days, a new winner will be selected and the previous winner will forfeit all rights to the prize.
This competition is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Entrants will be asked on the entry form to confirm that they have read and agree to these rules and regulations by clicking the submit button.Entrants will also be asked to confirm that they understand and acknowledge there is a fee to enter this competition, and that they may enter as many times as they wish — paying the entry fee for each submission — by clicking the submit button.
